As a reformed attorney, Jeff now enjoys putting deals together instead of fighting about them afterward. His clients benefit from his seasoned interpersonal skills, his broad network of resources, his legal training, and his hard-earned negotiation experience. Jeff helps clients define and achieve their real estate goals with energy, focus and integrity. His positive attitude and problem-solving also earned the appreciation of his colleagues, who chose him for the prestigious 'Agent's Choice Award' after his sixth year in the industry.

A San Francisco native, Jeff studied Psychology at the University of California at Santa Cruz, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley, acted in stage productions in New York City and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco. Jeff practiced law as a real estate litigation attorney for San Francisco-based firm Peterson, Martin & Reynolds, LLP.

Jeff was raised on real estate. His father, Ray Brown, is a former President of the San Francisco Board of Realtors and author of the best-selling real estate books "Home Buying for Dummies," "House Selling for Dummies," and "Mortgages for Dummies." Jeff's clients benefit from the insight and experience of this distinguished real estate veteran. Jeff has served on the Board of Directors for the Marin Association of Realtors (MAR), overseeing policy changes within the county.

Jeff has achieved success throughout Marin but Mill Valley is his key market, especially his home neighborhood of Strawberry where he lives with his wife Genevieve and son Aidan.
